Why did you choose to join Christ Community?
Karissa and I knew Dr. Russ Ayers from our residency program in Greenwood, SC and learned about CCH through him when he graduated and moved to Augusta. We then came and interviewed, and the Lord made it clear to both of us this is where we were to start our medical careers.
What is your favorite thing about your profession?
I enjoy encouraging patients – both in their physical health as well as their spiritual health. I enjoy working with our whole team at CCH to help our patients feel loved and valued.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
There are many…Proverbs 3:5-6 could start off the list!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
What is your favorite part about living in the CSRA?
I enjoy the outdoor activity options like the Greenway and the Augusta Canal

An anesthesiologist
