Patient Services Representative I – Dental
Under the supervision of the Dental Director, the Patient Services Representative is responsible for all aspects of the scheduling and front desk operations. The Representative facilitates the smooth transit of patients through the dental practice and provides a range of critical tasks that support an efficient, effective and financially sustainable dental program. He/she participates in the ongoing evaluation of dental operations to assure the delivery of high-quality services that supports the financial sustainability of the program. Tasks include but not limited to: scheduling appointments, collecting payments and posting them to patient accounts, coordinating internal referrals and target population appointments.
Patient Services Representative I
Under supervision of the Patient Services Manager, the Patient Services Representative 1 is responsible for coordinating patient reception – including check-in, acceptance of payment, and related information gathering – and many kinds of communication with and among various clinical and administrative staff to ensure that each patient’s experience at CCHSA is positive while applicable policies and procedures are followed.
Note: Applicants for this position must be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
This internship is for students taking a gap year before going to a health profession school (medical, public health, and physician assistant) and who have a vision for primary care among the poor.
The intern reports to the Medical Director and is responsible to assist with a variety of quality improvement, clinical, and administrative tasks or projects. Job assignments will vary by the current needs of the clinic as determined by the medical director.
Human Resources Assistant
Under the direction of the HR Manager, the Human Resource Assistant has excellent administrative and communication skills. The HR Assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organization and time management skills. The Assistant must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.
Clinical Facilitator – Pediatrics
Under the direction of the Referral Manager with collaboration with the Clinical Lead, the Clinical Facilitator’s primary responsibility will be receiving and processing medical records by filing patient health information in the electronic medical record, distributing faxes to proper individuals, scanning documents and clearing the fax inbox daily.
This internship is for students taking a gap year before going to a health profession school (medical, public health, and physician assistant) and who have a vision for primary care among the poor.
