When did you start working for Christ Community?

September 2019

Why did you choose to join Christ Community?

I chose to join CCH because of its mission and vision. The most important thing to me in this life is Jesus Christ. He is utterly amazing, and I get to share the hope found in him every day and I’m allowed to be myself around patients. It’s a huge privilege for me to be able to do this at CCH while also providing affordable, quality primary health care to the underserved. Growing up, I rarely ever had the opportunity to go to the doctor because my family couldn’t afford it. Health was a source of tremendous stress because if we ever got sick, we didn’t know how we could make ends meet. Now being able to help patients in this is so rewarding.

Also, for the opportunity to learn and work with so many amazing healthcare providers and staff. It’s great when you have a work family.

What is your favorite thing about your profession?

Developing trust and relationships with my patients is a tremendous honor. Getting to know them and hearing updates on their life is the most rewarding thing about being in this profession.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

“Fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you,

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

-Isaiah 41:10

What’s something we don’t know about you?

I can’t snap my fingers.

What is your favorite part about living in the CSRA?

My church’s community group – all of them are truly amazing. I am so encouraged by all of their friendships, and they show me so much grace and mercy.
