Emma Title

“During my past year working as a gap year medical scribe at Christ Community Health, I experienced what it truly means for medical professionals to lay down their lives, careers, and resources for the benefit of others. I had the opportunity to care for Augusta’s poor, underserved, and uninsured populations while gaining knowledge on the diagnosis process, physical exam, medical terminology, and prescription drugs. Being present in the exam room for each appointment taught me important questions the provider should ask and the value of detailed, thorough charting. Every day on the job I was encouraged in my own faith and solidified in my future career goals by witnessing the intersection of faith and medicine. I leave this experience better prepared for PA school and beyond with a desire to intentionally care for my own patients for the glory of God.” – Emma
